"Andrew R. Kreider and his brother Edwin, manufactured stockings in this building, which dates from the nineteenth century. For several decades, it has served as Lebanon Valley College's maintenance building. It stands west of the main campus along Church Street and is one of two former hosiery mills on the block being converted to college-managed condominium buildings." - from Lebanon County: A Postcard History (1992) **** "The hosiery mill of Andrew Kreider & Sons, at Annville, will commence operations Monday. The last of the machinery and finishing touches will be all completed this week. The Kreiders have secured as superintendent, Walter A.
